The 150 Extraordinary Canadians: Our Leadership And Innovation Legacy book is about good people who inspire present and future generations. These are success stories that commemorate Canada’s 150th anniversary, which took place in 2017. The contemporary achievers are also highlighted in television biographies, a documentary film and interstitials, as a part of the Envision Canada initiative. The diverse people profiled have been selected for their achievements in the corporate, community and public sectors across Canada. A panel under the direction of the Transformation Institute For Leadership and Innovation and Silvertrust Media, the parent company of Diversity or Envision Magazine as well as other publishing, broadcasting and special initiatives selected them. The Transformation Institute has set itself apart as the guardian of equitable collective memory.

The 150 leaders and innovators are featured in magazines, and special certificates are issued. Since 2010, the Transformation Awards gala, also known as the Diversity or Harmony Awards program, has celebrated leadership, excellence and innovation. Many of these achievers have been honoured at the gala. The book will be translated to French and other languages. The 150 honourees in the legacy book are role models who are encouraged to mentor youth in the Crossover Mentorship Program, deliver life changing lectures or support other causes in their respective communities.
